Warranty Coverage Overview
All Engines: 6-month warranty from delivery date
Your warranty period begins the day you receive your engine - either when you sign for delivery or pick it up from our location.
What's Protected Under Your Warranty
We've got you covered on all critical internal engine components:
Core Engine Components:
- Pistons, piston rings, and piston pins
- Crankshaft and main bearings
- Connecting rods and rod bearings
- Camshaft and camshaft bearings
Timing & Valve Train:
- Timing chain and timing gears
- Intake and exhaust valves
- Valve springs, seals, and guides
- Oil pump, push rods, rocker arms, and shafts
Block & Head:
- Engine block and cylinder walls (free from cracks or defects)
- Cylinder head (free from cracks or defects)
What's Not Covered
To keep warranty claims fair and straightforward, the following external components and situations are not covered:
External Components:
- Intake and exhaust manifolds
- Carburetors and distributors
- Starters and emission control devices
- Flywheels, clutches, and pressure plates
- Water pumps, thermostats, belts, and hoses
- Oil pans and valve covers
- Sensors and electronic components (distributors, wires, computers, injectors, etc.)
- Drive shafts, engine mounts, and half shafts
- Turbochargers
Warranty Exclusions:
- Damage caused by improper installation or maintenance
- Engines that fail due to lack of proper fluids, overheating, or neglect
- Installations not performed by certified mechanics (warranty will be voided)
Important Note: Shipping costs and labor charges are not covered under warranty.

Keep a close eye on your engine during the first 50-100 miles after installation. This is when potential issues are most likely to appear.

IMPORTANT: Photo and video documentation is required to process any warranty claim. Please collect the following:

- Missing components will be deducted from the replacement value
- We'll provide return shipping instructions
- Once received and inspected, we'll ship your replacement promptly
Deposit Policy
Holding Your Engine:
- Deposits hold items for up to 30 days
- Full payment must be received within 30 days of deposit
- Items must be picked up or shipped within 25 days of full payment
- After 30 days without full payment, items may be released from hold with no refund

KDM Motors Import maintains the right to service, repair, and recondition engines before sale using quality OEM or serviceable used parts. We may also exchange engines when necessary to ensure you receive the best possible product.
